Official Language
The official language of the Turkey Group Meeting and the AVEC General Assembly is English.
Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in German, French, Italian, Spanish during the Board Meeting on October 3 and General Assembly on October 4. Touristic programmes will be guided also in English, German, French, Italian and Spanish.

Badges and Identification
Upon registration each participant will receive a name badge to be worn at all times during the event.

The registration desk will be open for participants at Budapest Marriott Hotel, the venue of the AVEC General Assembly on the following dates and times:

Thursday, 03rd October: 08:00 – 19:00
Friday, 04th October:       08:00 – 17:00

From / to the airport

Transportation
The local organizers will provide transportation for the participants, who will arrive and depart by flight to/from Liszt Ferenc International Airport/Budapest to Budapest Marriott Hotel venue of the AVEC General Assembly.

In order to ensure optimal transport, the participants are kindly requested to indicate their travel details on the registration form. If the details of your travel schedule are not known when registering, please fill-in the Travel Information Form and send it to the Technical Organizer (jbanyai@agroeurope.hu) as soon as possible, but not later than September 3, 2019 if possible.

Insurance
The Organizers of the AVEC G.A. 2019 will not accept any liability for personal injuries or loss of & damage to property. The participants are kindly requested to arrange their own insurance for health, travel and property.

Currency and Money Exchange
The official currency of Hungary is the Forint (HUF). Coins 5,10,20,50,100,200 Forints. Banknotes: 500, 1000, 2000, 5000, 10 000 and 20 000 Forints. The most frequently used credit cards include: AMEX, Diners Club, Eurocard/Mastercard, VISA and can be used to draw money from banks, ATMs and to pay accounts in the hotels, restaurants and shops. Signs at the door indicate the places where the relevant cards are accepted.

Electricity
The voltage is 230 V.

Climate and clothing
Hungary has a moderate climate with an average maximum temperature of 16-20 degrees Celsius but it can be really changeable in October. During touristic programmes comfortable shoes, jacket and umbrella are suggested.
